CHARTER STANDARD

The Chairman has congratulated the club on achieving the Charter Standard Award and thanked Dave Barton and all those who had helped in gaining the Standard.

Dave Barton presented the framed Charter Standard Certificate to the meeting, along with a smaller plaque and four £50 McDonald kit vouchers. It was agreed that these vouchers should be presented to the Intermediate and Girls Sections.

Dave Barton said that it was a very proud moment for the club and that a presentation was being organised for Tuesday November 18th, prior to a First X1 game on Wharf Lane at 7.15pm. The event would be hosted by Mark Shardlow of BBC East Midlands with Notts. FA board members and hopefully a distinguished celebrity in attendance. It was hoped that playing members from all sections of the club would be available to attend and that a group photograph could be taken.
