Yo Ho Ho. Finally this cup match was under way after shortages and weather called it off three times.

Radcliffe didn’t hang about after the long wait they went straight about their business. And one of two firsts today, well done Amy for getting your first goal and only 2 minuets gone. 5 more up to half time and the blues were hanging out the stockings and putting the tinsel on the tree.

Lucy came out of goal second half (to curtail her Christmas sweet intake) and Jess and Jen took turns to defend the sticks. The fairy lights were turned on, reindeer hitched up for the sleigh ride home to the final whistle. 7 more goals and terrific lob by Maddie being one that stood out and another first goal from Emily, well done. Mince pies and milk put out for the fat bloke and the job was done.

A big thank you to Ilkeston, Merry Christmas to everyone one of you, as usual you gave your all.

So half way through the season and a great finish to the year . 2009,bring it on!!!!
